Alpaca, known as the noble fibre, is a beautiful, unique and sustainable fibre; it is one of the warmest, as well as, the finest known to man. We use a high percentage of alpaca wool in our socks, which makes them beautifully warm due to the hollow insulating fibres. The high quality fibres create an elegant pair of socks with superior performance in both cold as well as warm weather.
A thick & warm pair of bed socks, designed to be cool in summer and warm in winter. These high quality socks sit mid calf and are knitted in Alpaca yarn, to be lightweight yet hard wearing. These strong, breathable alpaca socks are ideal for mens slipper socks and ladies bed socks. The fibre also has antibacterial properties, which means they don’t need to be washed after every wear and prevents unseemly odours.
Many of the socks in this range have Gaelic names in their titles! Why is this? Gaelic is still spoken today by around 100,000 Scots. These Socks are available in 3 colours inspired by the natural surroundings in The Highlands; Brown, Stone, White & Orange and 3 sizes; 4-7 UK, 8-10 UK & 11-13 UK. They are machine washable at 30 degrees, which makes looking after them easy; and looked after well they will last a long time.

The toe seam isn’t great, it’s too wide, also they are big and the socks slip around the heel, for the price they aren’t very warm and aren’t at all comfortable. The socks are soft to touch.
