Dr Hunter Mens Over the Knee Wool Socks
When temperatures drop an over the knee wool sock is essential if you still want to enjoy the great outdoors in the winter. As well as being thermal these socks also have a cushioned foot aiming to maximise the comfort of your feet on your next outdoor trip.
Firstly these socks are made out of wool a highly effective thermal insulator that will keep your feet warm and toasty. Wool can also absorb a high amount of moisture meaning even though your feet will be warm they will not sweat.
They are also extra-long covering your leg above the knee keeping your legs as well as your feet warm. As well as keeping your feet warm these socks have a cushioned foot so if you are planning to hike hunt or work on rough terrains then these socks will keep your feet protected.
These socks come in a one pair pack are in green and they are available in 3 sizes. They are 49% polyproylene 28% cotton 10% wool 9% polyamide and 4% elastane and they are machine washable.

The Dr Hunter socks are far better than my expectations and well made. I’ve already worn them on my son’s windy hill farm and they were brilliant. I’m 5′ 6″ and they easily reach over my knees, keeping me warm, or can be folded over the top of your wellies. They are a tight fit when first worn but soon stretch to the contours of your leg. I bought 2 pairs, one for wear and other for wash, then won the weekly prize and received another 2 pairs of the same. Very pleased. Prices from Sock Snob were better than Amazon or Ebay when I checked at the time. Expect more orders and my wife wants colourful socks for Xmas.

I’m 5ft 8,inch in height. I purchased two pair. They come up to my knee, but not over the knee. If, after laundering, they stretch and do come over the knee, as another reviewer said they would, I will be back to alter this review. Interestingly, the socks label is not written in English, and the label does not state these socks to be over-the-knee in length.
